We build solutions to address the global information crisis
The Challenge
The global information crisis is our generation’s defining systems failure 1. Fueled by disinformation, algorithmic harms, and information overload, it’s destroying our ability to make sense of the world. The fallout? Rising conflict, weakened democracies, stalled climate and political progress 2 —and millions of lives 3 and trillions of dollars 4 lost each year. On top of this, AI is accelerating the threat. The question isn’t if we respond—it’s how fast we can address the crisis.
The Opportunity
This crisis also presents a turning point. By improving the quality and safety of information, we can restore trust, empower people, and unlock progress on today’s most urgent challenges.
Our Approach
We build both short- and long-term solutions that serve the public good and can scale sustainably.
- In the short term, we create tools to help people navigate and mitigate the effects of the crisis in daily life and work.
- Long term, we’re co-creating the ecosystems and information infrastructure needed for democratic societies in the age of AI.
Solutions
We're exploring solutions in the following areas:

Reducing Modifiable Risks for Insurers & Policyholders
Preventable accidents and conditions harm millions and cost billions every year. We're prototyping solutions to reduce accidents and support healthy lifestyles by providing people with helpful info when they're at risk.

Improving Employee Assistance Programs
Bad information leads to bad outcomes in the workplace. We're prototyping solutions that empower employees and employers with better information, fostering well-being, focus, collaboration, and productivity.

Empowering Content Creators & Publishers with Evidence
Fact-checking is time-consuming and difficult. We're prototyping solutions to streamline the process and help responsible content creators reach bigger audiences.
