Technical Roots
We began in 2023 as a spinoff of Janea Systems, a software engineering firm serving Fortune 500 clients like F5 and Microsoft. Janea's work on technologies such as Node.js, PyTorch, and .NET impacts millions of people every day.
Leadership
Our leadership team has deep roots in open source, AI, and ethical tech. Their commitment to building trustworthy, human-centered technology is backed by decades of experience at organizations who shaped the modern web.
Zak Greant
CEO & Co-founder. Founder, Executive, Developer, Marketer, and Technical Evangelist. 25+ years experience in open source startups & electronic frontier non-profits, including Mozilla, MySQL AB, ActiveState, FSF, and OSI. Focus on strategy, governance, and community development. Multiple startups and multiple exits.
Silvia Pareti, PhD
Chief Product & Safety Officer; Co-founder. Founder, sr. language engineer, and product manager. 10+ years in AI/NLP. Ex-Google (Assistant, Search, Bard). Focus on innovation, AI ethics, privacy, data and DEI. PhD in Informatics (NLP), Masters in Linguistics. 15+ publications. Grounded the field of Attribution Relations.
