Is BigFilter a fact-checking company?
We’re a technology company which provides solutions and approaches to solving problems with information. As such, we develop tools that validate content and assess the efficacy of things like fact-checking algorithms, but we ourselves are not a fact-checking company.
What are BigFilter’s biases?
All individuals have bias, just as all individuals have personal beliefs, moral guardrails and political preferences. We’re no different. Our goal as a company, however, is to recognize and negate those biases to the best of our ability, and to present non-partisan solutions to a problem which we believe

Does BigFilter censor information?
Our goal is not to censor information, but rather to remove the obfuscation of inaccurate, misleading, ill-motivated, fraudulent, distracting or otherwise harmful data which prevents clarity. Further, we aim to be transparent in how we handle information so that users of our solutions can understand our processes and mitigations.

We don't. Instead, we provide evidence, context, and presentation to help people make informed judgments.

When we err, we strive to do so transparently. We also recognize that truth isn’t always static. What we believe to be true today based on the best available evidence may be refuted tomorrow, which is a positive indicator of diligent research and the application of the scientific method.
