If you’ve heard of the Fermi Paradox, you may know of the Great Filter—a theory that suggests intelligent civilizations fail to survive key turning points.
Today’s global information crisis may be one of those filters. It already threatens progress, weakens democracy, and undermines collective action. If left unchecked, it could prevent effective action on existential risks such as climate change.
That’s why we named our effort BigFilter—a reminder of the high stakes and the urgent problem we’re here to solve.
