How does BigFilter determine truth?
We don't. Instead, we provide evidence, context, and presentation to help people make informed judgments.
We employ a variety of methodologies to help information consumers make informed choices as to the veracity of what they’re being told. For example, we rely on robust non-partisan information sources such as peer-reviewed scientific journals, community-managed online encyclopedias, and news sources which are widely recognized as reporters of record. We also apply algorithmic approaches to recognize common attributes of misleading or fraudulent information.
